ACCEPTED INSURANCE PLANS
The Affordable Care Act Medi-Cal health plans offer what is known as Essential Health Benefits (EHB), including dental benefits. Medical providers cover dental services for both adults and children. With Medi-Cal you are responsible for any Share of Cost (SOC) amount. You are also responsible for the benefits available under the Medi-Cal Dental Program that duplicate those provided under any other contractual or legal entitlements you are receiving.
The information given bellow is for Medi-Cal insurance plans we currently accept. Please contact our office if you don’t have this insurance plan listed but are still interested in coming to Victoria Village Dentistry.
When a patient has Denti-cal or Medical insurance they can receive dental services through their insurance. The dentist they are allowed to see will depend on the type of insurance they have. We accept Medi-cal at our dental office. People who live in Riverside and have Medi-cal can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that our dental office can service them with their dental needs. If your insurance covers work by our Medi-cal dentist closest to you, our office will help you file a claim.
Having a Medi-cal identification card at your first appointment might be necessary. Let someone at the front desk know which insurance plan you have, and any information needed. Our office will help you establish if your insurance can cover anything our DDS will be doing during your visit, as well as notifying you to any kind of copayment that you may have to pay.
Medi-Cal Dental Insurance

You are also responsible for the benefits available under the Medi-Cal Dental Program that duplicate those provided under any other contractual or legal entitlements you are receiving.
Benefits that are included in Medi-Cal benefits are services such as: Exams and x-rays, Cleanings (Prophylaxis), Fluoride treatments, Fillings, Root canals in front teeth, Prefabricated Crowns (stainless steel or tooth colored), Full dentures, Other medically necessary dental services.
The kinds of dental services a person might get are services like emergency services for pain control, diagnostic and preventive dental hygiene (e.g. examinations, x-rays, and teeth cleanings), root canal, tooth extractions, Prosthetic appliances, and Orthodontics for those who qualify.
The annual maximum for people with this plan is $1,800.00, but if medically necessary they might be able to exceed the maximum.
